Good practices of local climate & energy action

We would like to invite you to the discussion. Within the LIFE Unify project, Focus is organizing an event on local energy & climate action. The event will discuss best practices of local climate & energy action across Europe.

The first part of the event will present good practices of SECAP development, focusing on good practices in the context of insufficient institutional support, limited capacity, financial sources and tools that can help municipalities prepare, adapt and raise their climate and energy goals.

The second part of the event will focus on good practices in implementation of SECAP measures. The event will be concluded with a roundtable discussion on how to accelerate local climate and energy action.

  • Črtomir Kurnik, Local Energy Agency of Gorenjska (LEAG), Slovenia
    Development of the regional SECAP which includes all 18 municipalities from the Gorenjska region in Slovenia
  • Zoé Lavocat, climate and local policies adviser at Réseau Action Climat France
    Development of an online tool for monitoring regional climate policies – the tool can help regions to adapt, revise and raise their climate and energy ambition.
